Cookie Decorating at the Expressway Family Centre

So today we decorated cookies at the Family Centre.  The boys got right into decorating (and eating) their cookies.  It was so cute!  Here's Lachlan decorating...

And of course, right after we made them, we ate them : )

And unfortunately, Wyatt was too little to get into cookie decorating so we just helped out and then watched the boys eat the goodies.  Don't worry Wyatt...you'll get cookies next year I'm sure : )

Christmas has begun...

As we were decorating our house this year the boys came upon these adorable antlers.  Of course Lachlan had to wear them in his own unique way...

So the boys and I sat down tonight to make some special gifts.  They loved playing in the paint.

Happy St. Nichalus Day

So we had some very special guests come in to the Family Centre today to talk about St Nickalus Day to the kids.  It was great to hear the stories about him and the kids put their boots outside hoping he would stop by to give them some candies.  Here are all the kids boots clean and waiting for St Nickalus.

A few minor modifications....

I have hated the color in our basement living space for quite some time now and we finally just went out and bought some paint.  Here is a partial before picture as after we started moving furniture around we thought we should take a before picture.  The main reason we decided to paint is because my scrapbooking stuff is being moved into a small room off of our entryway.  I'll be great because Lachlan is always getting into my stuff and not in a good way.  In exchange, we will be putting up all Marc's Blue Bomber paraphanalia that he's been dying to get out of the boxes.  I think it's a fair trade LOL!  I'll post pictures of the finished space later : )

Hibernating? I think not!

But we have been taking a little nap from updating the blog.  Sorry for those of you who have been wondering where we are.  We have been SOOOOO BUSY!!!!  Taking the kids here and there, getting my Christmas shopping done, getting ready for events at the Family Centre, parties, playschool, gymnastics....the list goes on and on and on....  It's great, but with everything going on I have been neglicting my blogs.  I am hoping to do a few updates in the next few weeks and get a little caught up before it's back into the swing of things. We are awake now and back to tell you more from our busy lives.
