Enjoying the simple things...

I just had to take a picture of these two boys this afternoon.  I came downstairs to check up on them and they were curled up together fast asleep.  It's quiet times like this that make me appreciate the little things and be thankful for everything I have in my life right now.

A busy day in our house...

Since we had some guests over for the weekend, it seemed like the last day was the day they played the hardest.  First there were wrapping paper tube wars (that was Lachlan's idea).

Then some cuddles before Daddy made breakfast...

And then, after breakfast I guess the kids thought they should clean up LOL!

And last, but certainly not least, the boys took a ride on Ryan's snowmobile...well Preston and Lachlan did.  Wyatt was taking a nap.  It was great fun to have the Sheffields out here and we can't wait to get together with them again for another weekend (maybe at their new house once it's built?)

Lachlan learns to color...

Well...sort of...the kids found the pencil crayons today and so Lachlan spent the whole day learning how to hold it and then scribble all over the coloring book.  He loved it : )

Drumstick fun!

So I've been wanting to make a drumstick cake and since we are having some guests this weekend I thought now was as good as ever.  Yummy : )

And of course when we make a drumstick cake the boys love to lick the mixer spoons. 

Scrappin' good time!

So I had the opportunity to attend a scrapbook class in Brandon called Angels in the Making.  It was a great class to learn to alter albums (which is why I really wanted to attend this class).  I learned some new techniques, played around with some neat new tools and had a blast visiting with some of my favorite people that I miss so much in Brandon while meeting some new people as well.  It was a wonderful "birthday" gift from my boys.  During the day I took a break and decided to take a picture of my unorganized mess.  Okay so it's a little organized.

Busy body...

So we have to stay on our toes with this guy.  You turn your back for a moment and you don't know what he can get into.  I just had to laugh when I saw him sitting so nicely at the table "measuring" my papers.  This is soooo adorable! 

Here comes trouble...

I just had to take a picture of Lachie today.  He came up the stair wearing Preston's hat.  I can't believe how much he's grown!
