by the way...
For those of you who don't know yet. We are moving. Marc has been offered a job on a service rig in Oxbow, SK so we are moving west. Marc starts work there on Tuesday (right after Thanksgiving) and I will be leaving work in February or March (haven't decided yet) when I can go on Maternity leave. Baby is due on March 28/09. We listed our house and have had lots of interest and have a pending Offer to Purchase (with our asking price Yippee!!!). Hopefully it goes through quickly and is a go and then I can move back to Virden and save some extra $$$. I'll be living with my parents out there until the baby is born and then will join Marc in Oxbow. It's going to be a long 5 and a half months, but I know we'll survive. I'm starting to get excited about everything except maybe for packing LOL!
A visit to the Pumpkin Patch
I have been trying to get to the Pumpkin Patch for a couple of weeks now and finally we were able to go. While the weather was nice it was a blast, but then the sun disappeared behind the clouds and made it very cold. Poor Preston's little hands were red and frozen. So we stopped by Ryan and Amber's to visit baby Madison and give them a welcome gift. Can't wait to see that Halloween onesie on Maddy, Amber. Here are a couple of pics from the Patch. Oh yeah, and we dressed Preston in his halloween costume to take some awesome pics with the pumpkins.
I am such a trouble maker...
it's true!!! Well, maybe not exactly. LOL!!!
When there is a new baby born in our family I have this feeling that comes out and challenges me to be the most creative and have the most amazing gift for the new babe. Ask Kayla, my brother's girlfriend. They just had a baby boy named Jacoby ( I can't remember the rest and haven't gotten a baby announcement card from then yet. hint hint) anyways, so of course being an auntie again I have to come up with this amazing baby gift. Here's what I came up with:

Photo Op
It's not very often that I get to play around with my camera and take pictures of these two in their Blue Bomber jerseys. I've been dying to get these pictures done as I have an album for my "boys". We had a blast! They guys played and ran around with the football and tackled each other. It was sooo much fun.
Falcon Lake
Okay...I know that this is really late, but I thought I would share a couple of pictures from our week holiday to Falcon Lake July 6 - 12. Out of the whole weekend we only had like 2 days with out rain so we took advantage of them. Here's some pics of Preston and his first time playing with sand and learning about cold water! He wasn't too much of a fan of the water, but loved the sand.

Taking a breathe...
Whew! Is it ever getting busy! I've been running non stop ever since I got back to work. Well, I have had a lot of fun. I have been able to get some scrapbooking done, find a new daycare for Preston, and finally this past weekend I was able to get my house cleaned without having any boys around! Preston and Marc went home to Somerset to visit and do a little fishing (Yah!!! They finally caught some LOL!) and I stayed home and got my house under control. I was given a great surprise when they came home on Sunday and Preston can now walk on his own. I was sooo happy I was in tears. Of course I like it now, but will probably hate it in a couple of weeks. Oh well, I'll just enjoy the moment.

It's been a long week...
well...I'm working on my second week of work and finally getting back into the groove. I really didn't miss it, but I do like the money hahaha! I've been crazy busy all week long with work, scrapbooking classes, a convention meeting, and helping my mom move a ceramic business from Winnipeg!!! I'm so looking forward to doing a little scrapbooking this weekend at the Brandon Scrapbookers Convention...I just have to get my class stuff ready.
Last week, on my first day back at work we had a grass fire near our house which burned a lot of area. It went about 1/2 a mile long and I'm not sure how wide. Take a look. It came close to the house but luckily did not touch it. We do have a burn patch on our lawn however. It started out on the road, but no one knows how it started. But with this weather it's going to be dangerous until we get some moisture.
This was what our yard looks like. I had just taken this picture when we went back to see how close the fire got to the house.
This was the second wave of fire. They had it all under control and then got their truck stuck in the slough that the wind started it up on the opposite side. We had just gone home and Marc was watering down the tree line when I saw a little flame behind him and went outside to warn hime and this is the second fire.
This is a picture from down our lane looking toward the house. It burned quite a big area
This is from that second blaze. Heading past our house.

Weekend is over...
Had a great weekend. Scrapbooked all day Sunday at Scrapbooking at Shelley's I got a few layouts done which was great as I've been trying to scrapbook at home and I don't seem to accomplish anything LOL! Will post a couple of layouts later.
Right now I'm enjoying my time away from my son as he's in his new Daycare which he will be starting fulltime next week! I did a run to Maple Leaf to make sure that I could still get into my locker and timed it to make sure I had enough time. I am so not ready to go back to work. I need another year LOL!

Went for a walk today
Took a walk with Preston and my furkids and took along my camera to take pictures for a Photo Challenge on Paws On Scrapbooking Forum. What fun! Only got 2 photos for the challenge, but I took some photos to make myself a banner on my Scrapbooking blog. I'll be working on that tomorrow. I'll post a couple of my pics later as my little man is calling...Later!
