Finally a nice day with no wind!  The boys were so excited to get out and play in the back yard...especially Wyatt.

Home Sweet Home

As we were leaving the airport we took a picture of what we should have when we got here...I was kind of in a rush to get outside the terminal and find some food since my stomach was a littl queezy.

I got a kick out of these all week!  You can actually buy an Ipod from a vending machine!  Too funny!

Good bye Vegas!

This was just cool!  Marc said it looks like you can see the curvature of the Earth...I have to agree.

And here are 3 happy boys that couldn't wait to see their presents.  They had to wait until after we got home from Granny and Papa's before they could see what they got.  Here's Preston with his Bolt and green and yellow m&m's...

Day Seven - A day of rest

We took it easy today as it was a last official day in Vegas and after being up all night with Garth Brooks we started to pack up and get ready to head home and see our boys.

Day Six...the reason we came to Vegas!

We spent the morning on the north side of the strip as we had to pick up our tickets for Garth Brooks tonight!  The grounds around the Wynn were beautiful! 

We decided to take in one more show while we were there...Tournament of Kings dinner theatre.  It was so much fun!  We were cheering on Ireland and Marc got right into cheering and booing for the other kings.

After supper we decided to kill some time taking in the sights at night.  I had to take a picture of this because it was just a little overkill for advertising...

The volcano at the Mirage...this is one hotel that we didn't get a chance to explore...

Day Five

Oh yeah, did I mention that we went to KA last night?  It was amazing!  The costumes, the acrobatics, the martial arts, and all the little details!  Unfortunately no pictures inside, but we did snap this one at the door : )

This morning was a triple header as we headed over to the Luxor...

to see the Titanic Exhibit (we both survived), Bodies Exhibit, then

the Shark Reef over at Mandalay Bay.

I have had fun all week playing around with my camera.  It's been a great learning experience.

Day Four

 We spent the morning running around the Bellagio looking for the garden...If only we didn't take that first right and went straight instead we would have been there in an instant...It was still fun getting lost in the beautiful hotel and seeing all the amazing architecture.  The gardens however were amazing!  A photographers dream!  The gardens had beautiful tulips, daisy, daffodils...lots of beautiful, bright colors.

We then headed to Freemont Street for the afternoon.  It was a little too early to enjoy the lights and sounds, but it was still fun for the experience.

Day Three...

We headed to CSI for our assignments for the day solving crimes.  This was so much fun!

And after a morning of solving crimes we thought we'd go looking for something a little more colorful...The M&M Shop!  It was so busy in there, but we had to stop and pick up the boys some m&m's in their favorite colors!

Day Two...

After grabbing a cup of coffee at Starbucks we headed out again...this time to the south side of the strip.  We took pictures of the MGM Lion, New York New York, and Escalibur.

After a busy day we headed to the Rainforest Cafe for supper.  It was another fun day!

Vacation Time!

And we're off!  This was our first vacation ever and just the two of us!  And our very first flight!  I didn't really like the flight there, but we worked out all the quirks and the flight home was fine. 

The first thing we did was check into our hotel and then we took off for the rest of the day sight seeing on the strip.

And here is how we started our vacation...

So after spending the weekend at Mom and Dad Talbot's we had to head back home in the middle of a freak snowstorm!  It was insane!  Luckily on the last stretch of bad, snow covered road.  We followed this guy for quite a while so we didn't have to drive through the sticky snow.  It was very long and slow going but we were more than happy to do it (especially since we had no kids with us).

It started to clear up before Melita and then we hit this in Carnduff.  The bridge is closed for repair so we had to go around it.  It looks so funny a traffic light in the middle of the prairie...

Mom and Dad are going on vacation...

So us little critters are heading off to visit some family this week...

Some of us may not be happy about Mom and Dad leaving, but I'm sure we'll have lots of fun and the week will pass by very quickly...

And if it doesn't go my way, then look out for Mr. Buzz Lightyear and his laser beam!
